Dr. Rodriguez Graduated from Universidad Autónoma de Nuevo Leon, Mexico in 1989 and following this completed 1 year of social service medical practice.
He completed his general surgery residency at Instituto Mexicano del Seguro Social in Monterrey in 1994. He then went on to complete his cardiothoracic surgical training at Instituto Mexicano del Seguro Social in 1997 and completed a Congenital Cardiac Surgical Fellowship at LeBonheur Children’s Hospital in Memphis TN.
He first began volunteering with Dr Novick at the International children’s Heart Foundation in 2006 and since then has participated in 21 surgical trips and developed programmes in the Dominican Republic, Ecuador and Honduras.
He currently works in Hospital Regional de Especialidades del IMSS in Monterrey, México as a pediatric cardiac surgeon and has worked with the Novick Cardiac Alliance since its inception.
He is married to Nancy and has 4 children they live in Monterrey, Mexico.
